WCIEC Organization successfully conducted an insightful Mountain Medicine session at Student Town, Manas City, Jalal-Abad, led by internationally renowned experts Prof. Martin Klotz and Prof. Günther Cologna from the Swiss International Business School (SWIB). The session marked an important step in providing global-standard medical exposure to students studying at WCIEC’s partnered universities.

The special lecture focused on the medical challenges associated with high-altitude environments, including physiological adaptations, emergency care in mountainous regions, and real-world clinical scenarios encountered in extreme terrains. Students gained valuable insights into how altitude impacts the human body, an essential learning experience for future doctors studying in a geographically diverse region like Kyrgyzstan.

The interactive nature of the session allowed students to actively engage with the professors, ask questions, and understand practical applications of mountain medicine.
